Coach Brandon is no stranger to the game of baseball! He has years of experience coaching and mentoring athletes and helping them to achieve maximized performance. He is extremely knowledgeable and helps players nurture their existing competencies while also learning and fostering new and beneficial skills of the game. Experience in instructing players regarding new and improved form, performance techniques and endurance supporting exercises.

Coach Jibran

Coach Jibran is a dedicated hitting, fielding, and pitching baseball instructor and hitting and fielding softball instructor with years of experience helping athletes reach their full potential on the diamond. A multi-sport and semi-pro athlete, he brings a deep understanding of athletic movement, discipline, and game IQ to every session.
Whether working with baseball or softball players, Coach Jibran focuses on developing strong mechanics, mental toughness, and confidence through personalized instruction. No stranger to the game, he has spent a lifetime training, competing, and coaching across multiple levels—helping young athletes build the foundation for success both on and off the field.
Coach Kalia

Coach Kalia joins Avalanche Baseball Academy as a softball pitching and hitting instructor, bringing elite playing experience and a passion for athlete development.
A former standout at Alcovy High School in Covington, Georgia, Kalia established herself as one of the top softball players in the state. During her career, she set Georgia high school records while excelling both offensively and defensively. Known for her dominance in the circle and power at the plate, she earned numerous honors including multiple MVP awards, Coaches Awards, All-County selections, and recognition as a member of the Georgia All-Star High School Team. Following her high school career, Kalia continued her softball journey at the University of Kentucky.
Kalia’s experience, knowledge of the game, and ability to connect with young athletes make her a tremendous addition to the Avalanche Baseball Academy staff. She is committed to helping players grow in confidence, fundamentals, and overall softball IQ while creating a positive and competitive training environment.
Kalia specializes in softball pitching instruction, hitting development, and overall player growth for athletes looking to take their game to the next level.
Coach Rick

Age-appropriate training has been developed during his lifetime of playing, coaching, studying and training baseball and softball. This time-tested approach has been his main focus since 2005. Training is individualized and encompasses hitting, catching, pitching and fielding skills and drills. Rick's training style allows athletes to develop confidence and consistency in their abilities and desires. His unique style and training program is best suited to athletes that have a strong desire to pursue their passion and the accompanying desire for training consistency. He enjoys working with athletes that are enthusiastic and are willing to perform at their best.

Jacob Boyd brings high-level playing experience and a deep understanding of the game to every lesson. A standout and 3x State Champion at Loganville High School 2017-2019, Jacob went on to play college baseball USC Aiken 2019-2021 before continuing his career playing independent professional baseball with the Empire Baseball League 2023-2025 and United Shore Professional Baseball League (USPBL) in 2025.
With firsthand knowledge of what it takes to compete at advanced levels of the game, Jacob is passionate about developing players the right way - focusing on sound mechanics, approach, confidence, and baseball IQ. Whether your player is working on hitting, pitching or overall development, Jacob's instruction is tailored to help athletes reach their full potential.

After playing on his own, Coach Mike turned his passion into purpose, beginning his coaching journey. Over the past 35 years, he has built a reputation for developing not just great players, but great men and women. His coaching philosophy is rooted in fundamentals, respect for the game, and the belief that ball is a vehicle for teaching life lessons—discipline, resilience, teamwork, and leadership. Coach Mike has led teams to the highest level of championships and players to all collegiate levels and beyond. Aside from his day-to-day private instruction, he also coaches Impact Caymol, a Top 5 National team, as hitting coordinator. Let Coach Mike take your player to the next level!
